Guida is pleased to announce the addition of Steve Mendenhall, PLS to our surveying team.

Steve, who is a licensed land surveyor, brings over 48 years in the profession. He will be based out of Guida’s Bay Area office and will be focused on providing project management and business development for large transportation projects throughout Northern California.

Steve’s depth of project experience includes various aspects of surveying for roadways, highways, drainage, waterways, and natural resource features. His technical expertise includes surveying services such as GIS, GPS, and aerial service applications, as well as first order GPS primary control network, secondary control network, boundaries, plats, descriptions, exhibits, record maps, design and utility surveys, appraisal maps, right-of-way engineering and mapping, photogrammetric and planimetric mapping, digital orthophotography, rail surveys, road surveys, vertical steel surveys, tunnel surveys, and construction staking.

Steve also brings strong managerial competence, having been in responsible charge of multiple large surveying projects as well as corporate level management of survey operations of up to 120 team members. He has been responsible for ensuring consistency in survey and mapping procedures, quality assurance and quality control, coordination of union issues company-wide, reviewed and updated field crew managers on union compliance and support, and established training opportunities.
