Guida was honored to support this year’s WTS-Inland Empire Gala Dinner on Thursday, January 17, 2019. The primary goal of this event is to honor the women who are making a difference in the transportation industry and to provide scholarship opportunities to young women who are interested in transportation careers.
The theme of this year’s event complimented the venue, the Cal Aero Aviation Country Club. Guida’s creative team members worked together to create stunning centerpieces, boarding passes for each of the tables, and other small creative touches at the event. We are also proud to have donated the centerpieces post-event, to the student chapter of WTS at CalPoly Pomona for their upcoming fundraising dinner and gala.
As a women-owned business, helping to advance the careers of women in our industry, in a variety of roles, is very important to us. In addition to Meagan as the CEO/CFO, Guida has several women in leadership and managerial positions in surveying and technology, human resources, and marketing and business development. Guida also has a strong team of women serving in other important and strategic roles throughout the firm. This includes providing surveying and mapping services both in the field and in the office, garnering business through business development, building the Guida brand through marketing (includes proposal writing, website development, graphic design), managing our accounting and finance through accounts payable and accounts receivable, and providing general administration support, coordination, and organization.
Congratulations to all the honorees at the WTS-Inland Empire Gala Dinner. For more information on WTS-Inland Empire click here.
